Posted - 11/14/2007 : 4:45:57 PM I work in a school and have a windows 2003 server We have just purchased 15 macbooks. I have been able to bind to the server which has a .local domain name but i am unable to connect to any shares. When i log on i get a ? in the bottom right of the dock. If i try to connect to the server i get the message ' cant find alias'. I have amended the DC security policy to disabled, run gp update and rebooted the server. At another school which has a .internal domain name everything works fine.Could the .local domain name be the problem. Please help the head teacher is breathing down my neck to get this sorted asap. |
