As much as I love SharePoint, I have to admit that I have had a fair amount of frustration with the Wiki piece of the product. Just from a simple end-user perspective, trying to take material that already exists in a spreadsheet or word document and post it to the Wiki, I found very unpredictable results with the formatting. But if you're starting a wiki entry from scratch, that's not much of an issue.

So then I had a meeting with some folks who have been using the WikiMedia software, and they brought up a feature that it offers that I don't think is in SharePoint. I forget what it was called, autolinking, or link updater, or something like that. Basically the secenario is that on Monday you write an article about Widgets. Monday night this autolinker goes out and searches all other articles with the word "widget" in them, and turns those into hyperlinks back to the new article. I don't believe SharePoint does anything quite that cool. If someone else knows it does - please enlighten me!
