Posted - 07/25/2012 : 09:35:48 AM Have an issue at work with people losing their Personal Folders in Outlook 2010. Have one user that has lots of Personal Folders and occassionally, some of the folders disappear. Last week, the last 10 Personal Folders stopped showing. Even clicking the Folder List button didn't show the missing folders. But after clicking around a bit, the folders showed up again (don't remember exactly what I clicked). This week, the first 10 to 12 Personal Folders stopped showing up. But I don't remember what I clicked the first time to make all the folders show up. Is there a limit to the number of Personal Folders a user can have?

Never used it myself and of course you'll want to examine appropriate documentation before trying anything with it.
EDIT - home page provides brief descripton. |

Posted - 07/25/2012 : 10:19:14 AM We migrated our users from Lotus Notes to Outlook a few months ago. The Personal Folders they had in Notes were migrated. But seems that recently, Personal Folders have started either disappearing, or are hidden somehow. I think they are somehow hidden, because last week, after playing around with her settings, the folders came back. But I just don't know what I did as I just closed the Options dialog box and the Personal Folders reappeared even though I didn't make any changes.

Posted - 07/25/2012 : 09:50:26 AM Sounds like their Outlook profile (OST File) may be hosed up. During some of our upgrades we have to blow away the profile and let it rebuild in order for our users to see their folders. |
