I have been using DAEMON Tools Lite for years, very happy with that.

Multiple, enthusiastic recommendations for Virtual CloneDrive. Works on just about any Windows system and the price is just about right.

I use Virtual CloneDrive, quite simple and works always.

This one's free, I use it all the time with Windows 7: http://magiciso.com/tutorials/miso-magicdisc-overview.htm

I think it's still a download off the MSDN site.
Really dumb.

This could really use an update.

I like working remotely, but sometimes it's a hassle.

No...it just does not work, tried run as admin etc..looks like you have to pay for Magic Iso, extract with Winzip/Winrar or wait for Windows 8 when this simple functionality is built in.
