Hi all-

Can anyone give me the name of or a link to a HUB that I can use for network packet analysis? Not something with switched ports and routing tables, I want a simple, dumb, broadcasting hub. I can't find one to save my life.

Thanks ~ k

What about setting up tapping ports on switches? As long as the network is not really under load (which it shouldn't be if you consider using a hub there) it usually works pretty well.

Standard hubs have been getting pretty hard to find lately. You always have the option of making your own tap: http://www.altsec.info/passive-network-tap.html

I've used that design successfully several times.
