In our domain, we've deployed our first Windows 7 clients.
Everytime a user logs in they receive an error:

"System Event notification service has stopped. "
User group policy also aborts processing.

Running RSOP.msc reveals that:

Internet Explorer Branding Failed due to the error listed below.
An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format.

We are not experiencing any issues with our Windows XP SP3 machines running both IE7 % IE8. Has anyone run into this?

Interesting -- I've not seen that in my domain. I wonder what's different between mine and yours. Hmmm...

What is interesting is that if I use the XP version of the IE7 branding dll on Windows 7, Iedkcs32.dll , the crashing stops.
