Hi -

We have a Exchange Server 2003 server that has a priv1.ebd at 54.7GB and a priv1.stm at 16 GB. I know there is a max at 75 GB does that include both files or each one individually? Is there anything I can do to avoid the max? Also if I have to upgrade does 2007 and 2010 have the same limitations?

Look for Event ID 1216 in the Application Log.

Newer versions of Exchange no longer have the database size limit.

You can also check event id 1221, which tells you how much free space your store file has after an online defrag. If it's more than a few (say 5+GB) free space, I'd recommend doing an offline defrag. That got me from 100GB down to 35GB.
