I can now limited sort items on my Kindle for PC, not checked the physical device yet.....useful.

We got that about a year ago, about the same time that the "granite" Kindles came out.

Strange,
I had an update to the PC software here today and I fully noticed I could arrange collections
I wonder if the EU has different software to the US Kindles?
There is a 99.9% chance that I did not notice this feature.

I am on 1.6.1 (32800)
Looks like Library Management is still to come.

Understand that it's pretty subtle, James... I didn't notice it until I bitched to Amazon about what a pain it was becoming to organize stuff and they pointed it out.

James has fantastic taste in techie books ;-)

I didn't notice this collections feature before. My Kindle account is *ahem* in LA so I can buy stuff from Amazon.com. But I use the iPad Kindle app 99.9999% of the time and tend to archive stuff I've read. Just checked, no categories in the app.
