To start with - Server Win2008 R2 w/ Exch 2010 - Client (myself this time) Win7 w/ Outlook (Office) 2010.
I have a copy of my email forwarded to a gmail acct for my phone. Lately (about the last 2 months, I think) I've been getting the email in my gmail acct, but it can take 2 or 3 days for it to get to my Outlook! This happens primarily with external email with an occasional internal one mixed in to keep me guessing.
Any known reason for Exch to send my email to one location (gmail) and to hold the other (Outlook)?

Thanks, Joe.
First, what had been here before was totally off the wall - it pertained to a different problem.
I tried your 'get-messagetracking' in powershell, and if I'm reading it right, the one message I chose to follow was rcv'd by the server, forwarded to my gmail acct, and also (per "RecipientStatus") sent to the specified folder in my outlook. Where it never showed up. Sometimes they will show up that day, sometimes it takes a day or 2. However, they do show up in OWA. (side note on my OWA - cannot scroll down to bottom of emails, keeps popping back to the top.)
Edit - the entire note.

Log on to another computer with your account and Outlook and check if you have the same issue. Then check the differences, AV, Outlook Addons' etc.
You could try disabling AV, Addons and see does it go away, or remove the Exchange account, delete outlook ost and config files and start from scratch.

My organization uses Exchange Cached Mode, and sometimes "compost" happens to the local cache that sometimes requires deleting the local OST file and recreating the Mailbox profile to clear the problem.
Using OWA to troubleshoot mailbox issues is a great tool. "Knock of wood" but I haven't had any problems with OWA in the three years we have been using Exchange 2007, but Outlook is another story.... |

I tried the 'delete .ost' bit before, with no luck. Now that I have another PC that I can play with, I'll log onto it and build up my outlook there (07 vice 10) and see what happens.
side note - any idea as to why the scroll bar in OWA would not work? |
