Other than tablets, who sees this being doable? The majority of our users struggle with the slightest change and are still reeling from Office 2010 years later. How are typical users ever going to adjust to win8? Even I don't feel like I'm using it the way it's intended...
I think one area Admins will initially be interested (concerned) about is the Windows Store and the Metro-style apps. Thankfully AppLocker and other group policy settings will help. I also was playing with a new feature in the Windows Advanced Firewall yesterday. You can create an outbound rule that restricts a metro-style app to certain portions of the OS. You'll notice that when you install an app, it declares how it interacts with your system - photos, docs, webcam, network, etc. You can restrict these with GPO and WFAS.
