Hello All,
Any help on this one appreciated. Exmerged 30 mailboxes and put them back into Exchange. One failure as the reported PST was 2.1GB. Ran the MS Overisze PST tool and shrank it back to 1.8GB and it still will not open. Any one got a tool that can crack this one?? Of course it had to be the PST of the most important person there. Arrrrrrrrgh.
Thanks in advance,
John.

Hi John,

I had exactly the same problem, it seems that the most important persons have the largest mailboxes
Anyway, I solved it by exporting it using their Outlook export feature. However it did stop after one hour, exactly as the Exmerge did. So I made separate maps from her inbox (ag inbox2006, inbox2007) and then exported map by map, that worked, altough it took some time. I left her a message to ask to 'try' to reduce her mailbox, I think 7.9Gb is a bit overkill.

You guys should try out GFI Mailarchiver. Not a bad price.

1.8GB is too close to 2GB which is the exceed file size limit of Outlook PST file. So I [thought I'd spam your forum]. [Sadly, the spam was deleted by the admin. Better luck next time.][Not really.]
