Hi Jim --

Truthfully cookies can't harm your system security-wise, but they CAN lead to you being annoyed in ads.

Here's a page someone put together about how to find and delete them. They're just text files so they're easy to delete.

http://www.findmysoft.com/how-to/Selectively-Delete-Cookies-in-Internet-Explorer-8/

I hope this helps.

Hey Jim,

There are hidden internet files that are hard to find and nearly impossible to display for your profile when logged on. What I do is log on as the local administrator and then go into your profile to really delete all the temp files. If you have never setup the local administrator account, you can usually get to it by logginf off your profile, hit ctr+alt+del twice real quick and it should bring up a prompt for user name and password. The default on most home computers is Administrator with a <null> or blank password.

Alternately I use cleanup452 which goes through and deletes all the temp files. http://download.cnet.com/CleanUp/3000-2144_4-10727454.html?tag=mncol;1
