This is crazy. What happens if you set the service to Manual or Disable? I'm assuming the Adobe Reader still works? Will have to try it when I get to work tomorrow.

It's there on my work PC and I did notify security who are watching it's usage through the firewall.

Not sure what else to say. All apps are dumb to a degree so they are all a threat.
