Help!

After I get home from MinasiCon... I'm looking at my photos and I am reminded that my photos are in a state of SUPER dis-array. I have been sloppy for years about how I file my photos. I basically have a folder for each year - then I just DUMP my pictures in there. If file conflicts occur I'm too afraid to overwrite, so I let it say "Copy of" in front. But it is WAAAAAY out of control now.

What is the best thing I can use to get my photo collection cleaned up? I would like to rename them with Prefixes for what the trip was ("San Diego 2012 - 2012-11-28-[time]") to keep images or something like that.

I've also got SugarSync on my phone which backs up my mobile phone, so I got pictures from that going into my computer too. Plus I dump my mobile photos into "My Photos" every so often too. I'm probably backing up tons of duplicates. So I need something that can see dups hopefully at the hash level or something?

Cheaper the better, but I'm not opposed to dropping something for the right tool...

Anything BUT Picasa! I hate that software....

There should be only one World's Greatest Dad shirt. And you should have to kill the previous owner to wear it.

Clone Terminator has givien me fair results, but I also use a tool called File Renamer Deluxe (http://www.sherrodcomputers.com/products_filerenamer.cfm) Lets you use EXIF data in the rename and a lot of other stuff with preview mode and Undo.
