I'm one of those poor souls who hasn't quite embraced the virtualization thing whole hog and consolidated all my physical systems in to 1 physical box with VMs. As such, I run 2 systems through a KVM switch, which has been getting flaky over time. Its a Belkin. Its using PS/2 ports. I'm planning to buy a replacement, but I'm wondering if I should ditch PS/2 and go with USB only and power.
PS: this is just for home use; no need to connect up a bunch of systems in a data center. At this point, I'm so frustrated with the performance, RDP might be a better option, but there is still a need to use the switch at some point.
Thoughts? Anyone bought a KVM box recently they are happy with?
