I am following this

I followed the steps on a Windows 2008 R2 server. It is necessary to click next twice to see the menu to add NDES. Have you tried that already?

Sorry to be stating the obvious, but is your Server licensed as Enterprise or Datacenter? You need that vor NDES.

Thanks.

It required an enterprise license. So I install the enterprise version and right at the end I got the following error ...

Failed to add the following certificate tempaltes to the enterprise AD Certificate Services or update security settings on these templates:

EnrollmentAgentOffline
CEPEnryption
IPSEC (Offline request)
Element not found. 0x080070490

Advise Please.

Is the CA already running or are you trying to install both the CA and NDES role at the same time?
