I am looking for a third party software with which users will be able to change/reset/forgotten their AD passwords after answering some security questions. I recall few year ago I saw a product where there was an addition field on the logon dialog box to perform this task.

Any suggestions???

Thank you

Sunny

Microsoft Identity Lifecycle Manager 2010 R2 can do this both at the logon box and from the web. The product does a lot more than that though so it may not be what you're looking for.

We're using SpecOps Password Policy & Password Reset. It ties into AD nicely, was pretty easy to setup, etc., and does what it's supposed to.

Admittedly though, I'm now not only frustrated at how many people forget their passwords but shocked at how many forget the answers to their security questions.

We are interested in the Password Reset feature.

James ..so how do the users change their password if they forgot or unlock their AD Account?

Do they see an option on the logon screen dialog box? Or they go to a web site??

@Sunny: Yes, we're implementing the Quest product after months of fighting with Citrix Password Manager (loooooooong story).
