Hi People hope everyone is doing fine. Today i came to a situation i never had so am going to ask it here.

2 x 2TB Disks Set as Raid 1

O/S : Windows 2008R2 X 64

Setup Windows on a Partition size 120GB and the Unallocated Size 1.7 TB Partition it as NTFS Default Sector Size and Letter D: . My O/S couldnt see D: drive and i wonder if the partition size was to Big!!

I had to Change Partition Size to 1.2 TB in order for Windows to see it.

Anyone familiar maybe why?

Thanks

Not really. MBR has a limit of 2TB, so that would be ok.

If you are not sure change the disk to GPT.
Be careful, there are some disadvantages: http://www.petri.co.il/gpt-vs-mbr-based-disks.htm
